On 26 September 2022, H.E. Miss Boosara Kanchanalai together with officer and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy paid a courtesy call to Datin Paduka Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah Haji Sulaiman ,Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Dr. Muhammad Saiful bin Haji Omar, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Industry and Services), Professor Hasnain Isa, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Research) and Hajah Siti Asmahlati Bolkini binti Haji A.Ahmad, Director of Corporate Communication Office. Both parties discussed cooperation and collaboration opportunities in educations, innovation, technology and other potential joint interested fields between UTB and Educational Institutes of Thailand including students exchange, internship and mutual scholarships offers as well as joint activities to celebrate Thailand-Brunei 40 years diplomatic relations in 2024. Her Excellency expressed appreciation to UTB management for good welfare to 2 Thai undergraduate students currently studying at UTB.
