On 22 September 2022, H.E. Miss Boosara Kanchanalai together with officer and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy paid a courtesy call to Dr. Hazri bin Haji Kifle Vice Chancellor and President of  Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and Dr. Joyce Teo Siew Yean, Assistant Vice Chancellor (Global Affairs).  Both parties discussed cooperation and collaboration opportunities in educations and other potential joint interested fields between UBD and Educational Institutes of Thailand including students/officials exchange, mutual scholarships offers and joint activities to celebrate Thailand-Brunei 40 years diplomatic relations in 2024. Her Excellency expressed appreciation to UBD management for good welfare to 4 undergraduate and 1 graduate Thai students currently studying at UBD.
