On 16 October 2024, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of 5th PMCA 2024 at Impact Forum II Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand.

On this occasion, Mr. Mohamad Amir Irwan Haji Moksin, Bruneian Primary Education English teacher at Pengiran Kesuma Negara Bukit Beruang Primary, received the PMCA Award 2023, presented a report on play-based learning for Primary students.

H.E. Ms. Boosara Kanchanalai, Ambassador of Thailand, officers of the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand officers as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education of Brunei Darussalam, Head of Thai Community and representatives of Thai entrepreneurs in Brunei Darussalam also participated in the live virtual ceremony at the Royal Thai Embassy, Bandar Seri Begawan.
