The Royal Thai Embassy, Bandar Seri Begawan wishes to congratulate Ms. Hayatee Wado of Pattani, Thailand for winning the second-place award in Khat Diwani at the 2024 Regional Asian Calligraphy Art Competition.

On 16 October 2024, Minister Counsellor Kittivudh Pinyowit of the Embassy received the award on Ms. Hayatee’s behalf from His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik during the opening ceremony of the Brunei Darussalam International Islamic Calligraphy Festival 2024. Ms. Hayatee’s award-winning calligraphy art will be displayed at the festival during 16-18 October 2024 at the International Convention Center, Bandar Seri Begawan. 

Ms. Hayatee Wado is currently a visiting instructor on Arabic calligraphy for various educational institutes in Thailand.
