On 17 October 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the 5th PMCA Ceremony 2023 at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre, CentralWorld, Bangkok, Thailand. On this occasion, Mr. Mohamad Amir Irwan Haji Moksin, Bruneian Primary Education English teacher at Pengiran Kesuma Negara Bukit Beruang Primary, received the PMCA 2023 award in the Ceremony. H.E. Ms.  Boosara Kanchanalai, Ambassador of Thailand, officers of the Embassy, Team Thailand and spouses as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education of Brunei Darussalam, former Bruneian PMCA award recipients since 2015, President of Thai Community in Brunei, Thai community, representatives of Thai students in Brunei and local media also participated in the live virtual ceremony at the Royal Thai Embassy, Bandar Seri Begawan.
