Thailand Participated the 19th ASEAN and 9th ASEAN+3 Youth Cultural Forum

During 23-28 June 2024 Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) hosted 19th ASEAN and 9th ASEAN+3 Youth Cultural Forum, themed ‘Futuring Together Towards Preserving Arts and Culture,’ which was participated by 145 delegates from 20 ASEAN University Network (AUN) members and seven partners from China, Japan and South Korea. Executive Director of AUN Dr. Choltis Dhirathiri and 25 lecturers together with students from Thai Universities, namely Chulalongkorn Uninversity, Mahidol University, Chiangmai University, Burapha University and Prince of Songkla University, joined the forum.
On 27 June 2023 Ambassador Boosara Karnchanalai was present at a closing ceremony whereby UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle held a symbolic handover presentation to Dean of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at the Chulalongkorn University Dr. Kumkom Pornprasit. Chulalongkorn University will be hosting the 20th ASEAN and 10th ASEAN+3 Youth Cultural Forum 2025.
Earlier, on 24 June 2024 Minister Counsellor Aidsada Sundaramani attended the opening ceremony, which Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad was guest of honour.
