Thailand participated in the 15th Meeting of the AIPA Caucus in Brunei Darussalam

        During 10-13 June 2024 Hon. Prof. Kanchanatatt Leevirojana, Member of the Senate, Hon. Mr. Taopiphop Limjittrakorn, Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ms. Piyarat Tiyapairat, Member of the House of Representatives, and officers from Bureau of Inter-Parliamentary Organizations, Secretariat of the House of Representatives attended ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, The 15th Meeting of the AIPA Caucus in Brunei Darussalam.
        The topic of the meetings covers the theme Strengthening ASEAN Cyber Resilience through Parliamentary Cooperation: Towards a Future of Safe and Vibrant Digital Economy. During the meeting, Mr. Taopiphop participated in a panel discussion among figures from business, government and parliament on the topic of “Building Public-Private Partnerships for Cyber Resilience”.
        On 10 June 2024, Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai hosted luncheon in honour of the Delegation at the Thai Residence.
        Mrs. Aidsada Sundaramani, Minister Counsellor, attended the Opening Ceremony of the Meeting, whereby Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker, delivered an Opening Speech.
        On this occasion, the delegation also visited Masjid Omar Ali Saifuddien, welcomed by Awang Misle bin Hj. Abd Karim, Acting Deputy permanent secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
