        On 20 June 2024, HM the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam graciously granted an audience to the Thai Chief Defence Forces, while HM Raja Isteri graciously granted an audience to Mrs. Panyada Noonpackdee.
        Chief of Defence Forces also paid a courtesy call on Pehin Datu Laila Raja Major General (R) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, and held a meeting with Maj Gen. Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, as well as Land, Air Force, Navy and Joint Force Commanders.
Brunei Darussalam and Thailand have a close defence cooperation, both at bilateral, ASEAN and regional frameworks. This visit was a testament of close and long lasting defence ties. Both sides also held constructive discussions on strengthening of cooperation for peace, security, addressing new challenges in the region as well as working together for developments of the two countries and the Armed Forces.
        On 19 June 2024, Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai, hosted a welcoming dinner for Chief of Defence Forces and party. Group Capt. Woravit Pranet, Defence Attache, and Officers of the Royal Thai Embassy were present.
