        The Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with Office of the Defence Attaché, Bandar Seri Begawan, Office of Labour Affairs, Bandar Seri Begawan, Department of International Trade Promotion in Kuala Lumpur, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Kuala Lumpur Office and Office of Agricultural Affairs in Jakarta jointly organized “4th Thailand Bazaar” at Onecity Shopping Centre during 26-29 August 2022 with the aim to support Thai and Brunei entrepreneurs to merchandise Thai products as well as promoting Thai food and products popularity in Brunei.  At Thailand Bazaar, Thailand tourism promotion and business cooperation opportunity among Thai and Brunei counterparts were part of the activities.  Total 40 booths of Thai and Brunei vendors showcased and merchandised varieties of Thai food, beverages, snacks, Thai silks, clothing, jewelries, handicrafts, halal science innovation products using materials from Thailand and oral-care products from Thai company.  The activities included Thai cultural promotion whereby Royal Brunei Culinary and Thai food vendors participated in Thai food demonstration.  During 4 days events, more than 10,000 visitors joined Thailand Bazaar.     

        At the opening ceremony, Her Excellency Miss Boosara Kanchanalai, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand welcomed Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Mohd. Harris bin Brigadier General Retired Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Trade and Industry), Ministry of Finance and Economy and other distinguished guests from diplomatic corps, high rank officials of Brunei, business/private sectors and media. In welcome remarks, Her Excellency Miss Kanchanalai indicated the importance to support the Thai and Brunei SMEs and retailers to continuously operated their businesses amid the COVID-19 pandemics and maintain the trade between Thailand and Brunei.  It is necessary to adapt a sustainable development goals in accordance with post COVID-19 pandemic which effected economy and society whereby Thailand has applied Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) for sustainable development and proposed this model for economic development during APEC where Thailand is a chairman this year.  Besides, BCG is also in line with Brunei master plan for economy sustainable development such as adaption of tourism industry in accordance to post COVID-19
