On 25 May 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy, Bandar Seri Begawan attended the Signing Ceremony of Strategic Alliances Agreement between Majubina Enterprise, the official importer of Thailand halal products, and six Brunei retailers, Ikatan Pengusaha Muslimah Indonesia Brunei (IPEMI), Corlido Group Brunei, Auni Exclusive, Mazroni Enterprise, Cerita Fabrikku and Gentleman Stitch. The signing ceremony was organized by the International Halal Trade Hub & Services (IHTHS Corporation) and the Cottage and youth Initiative Program. The guest of honor presiding over the ceremony was Datin Paduka Hajah Rokiah binti Hj Zakiah, the president of Women’s Business Council of Brunei Darussalam (WBC).

After the ceremony, the companies exhibited their products and services, such as tailoring service, fashion consultant service, and hydroponic farming products. The exhibition also included Thailand halal products like textile, cleaning solution, and water filtrations system, which were used by the six local companies to produce their products. Thailand halal products are the collaborative efforts between Greentech Biolab Co., Ltd., based in Thailand’s Songkla province and the Brunei IHTHS Corporation, and are mainly exported abroad under the Brunei Bersuci brand, which won the Prime Minister’s Export Award 2021 under the category of best halal product.
