On the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the National Day of Brunei Darussalam, HM the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam together with HM the Queen and royal family presided over the Grand Assembly Ceremony at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. Approximately 25,000 Bruneians from all walks of life took part in parade, performances as well as spectators in this celebration. Again this year, the Thai community delightfully participated in the parade together with Bruneians and other expats.

        Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai was invited to the event and extended best wishes on this occasion. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand.
