On 29 August 2024, Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai and YANG MULIA DAYANG HAJAH TUTIATY BINTI HAJI ABDUL WAHAB, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, presided over an opening ceremony of the 7th Thailand Bazaar and Cultural Week 2024 held during 29 August – 1 September at OneCity Shopping Center.
During the event, Muay Thai demonstration by Chainblock Muay Thai and Training Camp and Thai movie screening titled “The Undertaker”, Thailand’s No.1 Box Office in 2023, received great response from the public.
Thailand Bazaar and Cultural Week partnered with Royal Brunei Airlines in launching Amazing Bangkok packages at the event.
More than 50 Thai food vendors, distributors and importers of Thai products namely handy crafts, spa, home fragrances, clothing, cosmetics and jewelries joined the event. The Royal Thai Embassy together with Team Thailand offices also showcased booths promoting Thai Tourism and culture, umbrella painting as well as information booth on Thai worker employment. The four days event received great response from the public and attracted over 44 thousand visitors including locals, foreigners, local media, and social media influencers.
