On 14 July 2025, Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai hosted dinner in honour of General Songwit Noonpakdi, Chief of Defence Force, Royal Thai Armed Forces, spouse and the delegation visiting Brunei Darussalam on the occasion of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’ izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan’s 79th Birthday Celebration and General Songwit receiving the State Decoration “The Most Exalted Order of Paduka Keberanian Laila Terbilang 1st Class (D.P.K.T.)” on 15 July 2025.
