On 5 October 2024, Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai presided over the opening ceremony of the Thai Corner at the Library Complex, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), alongside Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr. Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UTB. This event is part of the year-long celebration marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Brunei Darussalam, organized by the Thai Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan throughout 2024.
        The Embassy has selected 25 books that reflect Thailand's history, culture, tourism, architecture, and sustainable development practices, which were presented to UTB as a symbol of goodwill aimed at enhancing mutual understanding between peoples of the two countries. This initiative also encourages the younger generation to continue fostering friendship between Thailand and Brunei Darussalam.
