H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, paid an official visit to Brunei Darussalam on 15 – 16 January 2018 at the invitation of H.E. Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam. The objective of the visit is to strengthen the existing friendly ties between Thailand and Brunei Darussalam.

During the bilateral meeting, both sides hope to achieve tangible outcomes in key areas such as agriculture, trade and investment, and halal industry as well as exchanged views on ASEAN and important regional issues. Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam hosted luncheon for the delegation. On this occasion, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented for an audience with the Foreign Minister and delegation at the Istana Nurul Iman.
