    On 18 September 2019, Dr. Krissanapong Kirtikara, Chairperson of the Princess Maha Chakri Award (PMCA) Foundation and delegation paid a courtesy call to H.E. Miss Wanthanee Viputwongsakul, Ambassador at the Royal Thai Embassy in order to convey appreciation to the Embassy in coordinating with concerned parties, updating PMCA Foundation’s works and introducing three teachers from Brunei Darussalam who have received this Prestigious Award.  These teachers are Hajah Ratnawati binti Haji Mohammad from Keriam Primary School, Tutong, PMCA 2015, Mrs. Lim Soh Ngo from Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College, PMCA 2017, and Hajah Noorliah Haji Aspar from Lambak Kanan Jalan 49 Primary School for PMCA 2019.

   On this occasion, Ambassador and delegation from PMCA Foundation met Thai private sector in Brunei and local members of media to introduce PMCA Foundation and three teachers who received awards. 

  The Princess Maha Chakri Award (PMCA) is an award given to outstanding teachers of 11 Countries in Southeast Asia (ASEAN+Timor Leste) who have made significant impact to students’ lives.  The PMCA was set up in 2015 during HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn 60th Anniversary Birthday Celebration in recognition of HRH’s contribution, commitment and devotion to teachers and education, particularly the disadvantage groups in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
 
   Upon arrival on 17 September 2019, Ambassador hosted dinner in honour of the Chair Person and delegation from PMCA Foundation.
