Young talents from Thailand participated in the competition for Crown Prince Creative, Innovative Product and Technological Advancement 2025 or Crown Prince CIPTA Awards 2025 organized by the Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB).  on 2 July 2025, His Royal Highness  Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah presided over the award ceremony where 4 projects from Thailand were given the prestigious awards in ASEAN Categories, namely,   

  1. Young Inventor Category: Formulating Paracetamol-Infused Jelly Using Fish Scale Gelatin for Pediatric Use from Varee Chiangmai School, 3rd Place award winner with trophy and cash prize;
  2. Young Inventor category: The Study of Using Tannin Extracts from Indian Almond Leaves to Produce Acne Patches from Discarded Silkworm Cocoon from Varee Chiangmai School, 2nd Special Mention award with cash prize;
  3. New Invention & Innovation Category: Bamboo Community Bridge Using Fabricated Connectors for Lowland or Flood-Prone Region from Thammasat University, silver medal;
  4. New Invention & Innovation Category: Fabricated Bamboo Structure for Emergency Shelter from Thammasat University, bronze medal.

On this occasion, Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai , Minister Counsellor Kittivudh Pinyowit together with executives from the UTB congratulated the Thammasat Team attending the award ceremony.
