On 22 – 24 May 2023 Dr. Krissanapong Kirtikara, Chairman of “the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhon Foundation Award” for outstanding teachers who change students’ lives and the committee members visited Brunei to exchange views and teaching experiences as well as to further collaborate on projects such as raising young entrepreneurs, special education, youth camp with the previous year awardees including Mr. Mohamad Amir Irwan Bin Haji Moksin, 2023 Award recipient from Pengiran Kesuma Negara Bukit Beruang Primary School.

The Thai delegation and Ambassador Boosara Kanchanalai also paid a courtesy call on Yang Mulia Dr. Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary (Core Education), Ministry of Education, to discuss the educational collaboration between Thailand and Brunei Darussalam, especially on the projects/ activities to celebrate 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2024 and the MoU for Collaboration on Education between the two countries.
