On 18 February 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with the Office of Labour Affairs in Brunei organized briefing session by representatives from Department of Labour and Department of Immigration and National Registration of Brunei Darussalam to Thai community. A briefing session provided 80 participants from Thai Community, namely, entrepreneurs, employees, students and residents with information, rules and regulations which are relevant to Brunei Labour and Immigration’s Laws and orders as well as rights in the work place for peacefully working, studying and residing in Brunei Darussalam.
H.E. Miss Boosara Kanchanalai, Ambassador of Thailand, in her welcome remarks, expressed appreciation to representatives from Department of Labour to kindly provide a briefing on “Guidelines on Employees’ Rights under Employment Order 2009” and representatives from Department of Immigration and National Registration on “Work Visa and Pass and Immigration Laws and Regulations” for Thai community.
