On 20 September 2022, H.E. Miss Boosara Kanchanalai and officers from the Royal Thai Embassy paid a courtesy call to Dr. Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and management personals. Both parties discussed cooperation and collaboration opportunities in the fields of education, halal sciences and agriculture between UNISSA and Education Institutes and Halal sciences Centre of Thailand including students and officials exchange and joint activities to celebrate Thailand-Brunei 40 years diplomatic relations in 2024. Her Excellency expressed appreciation to UNISSA management for good welfare to 36 Thai students currently studying at UNISSA.
