On 4 December 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy organised the Buddhist merit making ceremony to pay tribute to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of the 50-day mourning period.  Embassy invited 4 monks from Wat Bowonniwet Vihara to perform the Buddhist merit making ceremony at the Residence of the Ambassador.
