On 13 September 2016, the Ambassador of Thailand hosted dinner for a delegation from Thailand's Rice Department who were on a working visit to meet with officials of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism to lend its expertise on increasing rice production in Brunei. The collaboration project is under the MoU on Agriculture Cooperation that the two countries signed in March last year.
