On 24 May 2016, H.E. Mr Biravij Suwanpradhes paid a courtesy call on Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr.) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Home Affairs. During the visit, both sides discussed and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
