On 28 September 2019, H.E. Miss Wanthanee Viputwongsakul, Ambassador, attended the opening ceremony of the 35th ASEAN Council of Teachers +1 Convention organised by the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) at Parkview Hotel, Jerudong.

 

     Present as the Guest of Honour to officiate the event is Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam.

 

     During the ceremony, Her Excellency the Ambassador met with the Thai delegation participating in the Convention which comprises of 82 participants from the Teachers Council of Thailand (KHURUSPHA), National Thai Teachers Union (NTTU) and Private School Teachers’ Association of Thailand (PSTAT). The Thai delegation is led by Dr. Watanaporn Ra-Ngubtook Secretary-General of the Teachers' Council of Thailand.

 

     The 35th ACT +1 Convention runs from 27-29 September 2019.
